HJC SPORTS, TEAM TOTALENERGIES AND MARVEL BRING IRON MAN TO THE TOUR DE FRANCE
The Iron Man franchise continues, as does the Adwatt. HJC Sports Celebrates the Tour de France together with Team TotalEnergies and Marvel.
For Stage 16 of the 2026 Tour de France, taking place on the 21st July, the athletes of Team TotalEnergies will be lining up in the Individual Time Trial. The race of truth is set to start in Évian-les-Bains winding 26.1 km to Thonon-les-Bains along the shores of Lake Geneva. Team TotalEnergies will be bringing an extra rider - Tony Stark - to the party, with fully custom Marvel Iron Man painted HJC Adwatt 1.0 Helmets.
TotalEnergies helmet sponsor HJC has a long history of working with Marvel on different helmets in their Motocycle helmet business - we want to highlight this relationship, while providing something fun for the superheroes of the TotalEnergies racing team. Why? Because it is fun! Racing is serious, it is numbers, it is performance and margins – but most people got into cycling because it puts a smile on their face. This is a team that is more than just a collective of riders, it is people who love sport, love racing and love riding. From development and U17 teams, to the Pro Team. It is a team focused on doing right, just like the Marvel Super Heroes.
The HJC Adwatt 1.0 is race proven. Originally designed in 2019 and capable of equipping an Hour Record Holder, it continues to do duty in the toughest races in the World. HJC supplies the helmet to Team TotalEnergies, but if you look closely, you might see the Adwatt 1.0 being used by riders on a team we do not sponsor. So it is still fast, and fast enough that some teams buy it and ride it.

The HJC Adwatt is available in two versions. The Adwatt for Time Trialing, and the Adwatt 1.5 for Triathlons, which features added ventilation for longer rides. Those which perhaps are done by Iron Man.
HJC Sports continues to push the envelope in terms of protection, aerodynamics and comfort for cyclists. With over 50 years of experience in head protection and millions of helmets out there, the South Korean company is the most experienced expert in this field.
